Meet our researchers at the 2026 Hannover Messe. Among other things, Fraunhofer IAP will be showcasing customized and precious-metal-reduced catalysts for use in fuel cell and electrolysis technology.

Fraunhofer IAP will be presenting specially adapted membranes for water purification at the Fraunhofer joint booth. The focus will be on the targeted separation of defined contaminants, efficient water filtration, and the recycling of process media.

The department Functional Materials and Components will present its research on printed electronics from May 5–7, 2026, as part of Display Week in Los Angeles.

Fraunhofer researchers will present an innovative printing system for tamper-proof QR codes at Interpack 2026, combining digital product passports, product protection, and authenticity verification in a single code.
